Introduction to Animation: June 15th - June 26th (A01) - a 2-week course designed to teach the fundamentals of animation to children of all ages. Techniques such as pixilation, cut-outs and clay animation will be explored and used to create a variety of films with an emphasis on storytelling.
Advanced Animation: June 29th - July 10th (A02) - a 2-week course designed to recreate the working environment of a professional animation studio. The children will be taught how to develop a compelling story, how to design characters and create a usable storyboard, and how to work as a team to produce a fully realized animated short.
Cartooning and Comics : July 13th - July 24th (BA01) - a 2-week course designed to promote drawing skills with regard to graphic illustration, cartooning and comic art. During the camp, the students will learn how to simplify their artwork, how to develop layouts for comic strips and how to create caricatures as well as their own original characters.
