Pixel Art Studio is a company that combines the worlds of art, animation and filmmaking. The brainchild of schoolteachers and award winning filmmakers experienced in the art of animation, Pixel Art Studio has one main objective: to make all aspects of the visual arts an accessible, enjoyable and easy to understand experience for children of all ages.
Our work has been viewed at many film festivals the world over, and many more closer to home including the Hollywood Short Film Festival, Sacramento Film Festival, Cinecats, Bethlehem PA Festival, and Cinequest. We have won several awards and enjoy continued recognition at these events.
Pixel Art Studio is offering intensive courses in traditional animation and art.
All animators, whether their preferred medium is pencil on paper, clay or computer graphics, share an understanding of the common basics of animation, and it is these basic building blocks that our company is offering to children – our ultimate goal is to make the world of art and animation easily accessible and fun for everyone.
